A favorite pattern and a favorite fabric.

I think my very favorite pattern to sew may be the New Conceptions Baby Essentials crossover shirt and pants.  It goes together perfectly every time.  It's cute as can be.  It's quick.  It looks impressive and makes an adorable baby gift.  It even fits tiny babies well.  I'm not sure I could ever get tired of sewing these sweet newborn pieces.  Here's a set made for a newborn baby boy, along with one of my pacifier chains:

I even added a hand-stamped tag to the back:

These tags are so easy to make.  I love VersaCraft inks, which come in great colors and hold up well.  Just stamp it on, let it dry, iron, and you're done.  My favorite twill tape for stamping comes from Japan.  I've bought from Etsy seller Karaku, who sells three widths of cotton tape, and also ink pads.

I bet you think I'm going to tell you that this space rocket fabric is my favorite.  I do like it -- the colors are fun and who wouldn't love little UFOs? -- but actually it's the turquoise dot fabric that's a total favorite of mine.  It's a cotton/lycra with the perfect amount of stretch, and I've used it as trim with lots of different fabrics.  I wish I had bought more.
